Breakout! This film portrays three young activists who have made a difference in the life of thousands around the world. Age is clearly not a criteria for someone to make a difference in the world.

This film portrays three Canadian activists: Alaina Podmorow, 11, from Kelowna BC started a group called Little Women for Little Women in Afghanistan. The organization has raised funds to pay salaries to hundreds of teachers so that little girls can go to school in Afghanistan. Bilaal Rajan, 12, from Ontario started selling clementines at the tender age of 5 to help earthquake victims in India. He skyrocketed to attention when he raised millions for the Tsunami. Bilaal has traveled around the world to see the devastation caused by natural and man made disasters and has now documented his experiences in a book.

Craig Kielburger, was so moved by the issue of child labour that he started an organization called Free the Children at the age of 12 and today, itʼs the largest network of children helping children through education.

Age is clearly not a criteria for the power of an individual to make a difference in the world.
