During Reel Focus, students in grades 4-7 attend a film program and a workshop. The day starts at 9:45am and ends at 1:00pm. Classes attending the 10:00am screening will participate in a workshop at 11:45am, or vice versa. There is a half hour snack break in between the film program and the workshop. For some screenings we expect to have filmmakers in attendance to facilitate a brief Q&A session following the films. Local film professionals teach our workshops. All Reel Focus screenings and workshops take place at the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre (in Yaletown).

Classes are welcome to eat lunch at the Roundhouse during the break or after the day is complete.  There is indoor seating, and an outdoor courtyard.

Please note:  the public is welcome to all Reel Focus film screenings.

You may attend a feature film – and now you also have the option of staying for the whole day and taking a workshop.
