Bike-in Movie this Monday, July 13, 9pm in Vanier Park
Bike, walk, or bus it to see the charming animated comedy The Triplets Of Belleville.
The Triplets Of Belleville follows a plucky grandmother’s quest to rescue her kidnapped cyclist grandson. Written and directed by Sylvain Chomet. Rated PG-13 for images involving animated nudity, violence and crude humor.
Animating History Summer Camp
July 27-31, 9am to 3pm at the Museum of Vancouver
for kids aged 9-10 & 11-12
Students will create animation inspired by Vancouver stories and ideas about the city. The course will include:
- Story development
- Character creation
- Camera operation
- Editing
- Soundtrack creation...plus much more!
The week-long camp costs $350 and includes:
- All materials
- Equipment use
- Snacks! Please bring a lunch
- World class instruction from professional animators and museum interpreters
