Vanessa Lemor, a lonely 13-year old girl with a vivid imagination, is dumped by her true love, uber-intellectual Philip Georgey. Vanessa spends the summer obsessing over the heartbreaking tragedy, while working with Philip who is her manager at the local ice cream shack.
