About Gail Noonan
Gail Noonan is an independent animator who has completed seven films since graduating from Emily Carr Institute in 1989. Her films encompass a wide range of animation methods from traditional cel, drawing, cutouts and plasticine to more experimental stop motion and pixilation techniques. The themes of her films are equally diverse, including homelessness, feminism and the foibles of human behaviour. All of her films have been screened internationally and won awards. Currently she is exploring songwriting combined with experimental animation.
